2. Privacy policy

2.1 What data we collect and why

This site only collects data you voluntarily provide:

If you email us at info@spiritcuentos.com, we will process the data you send only to reply to you.

2.2 Legal basis

The legal basis for processing your email is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), freely given when you complete the subscription form. You can withdraw it at any time (see section 2.5).

2.3 Who processes your data (data processors)

2.4 How long we keep your data

2.6 Children

Our books are for children, but this website is aimed at adults (parents, grandparents and educators). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

3. Cookie policy

3.1 The short answer: we don't use tracking cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies, personally-identifying analytics cookies, or cross-site tracking. That's why we don't show you the typical cookie consent banner: under the ePrivacy Directive and EU data protection guidelines, the technologies we use are exempt from consent because they are strictly necessary or purely technical.

3.2 Exactly which technologies we use

TechnologyTypePurposeDuration
Cloudflare technical cookies (e.g. __cf_bm)Strictly necessarySite security and bot protectionUnder 30 minutes
localStorage (browser local storage)FunctionalRemembering your language preference and subscription stateUntil you clear your browser data

Site traffic analysis is performed with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a tool that uses no cookies, generates no identifiers and tracks no individuals — it only measures visits in an aggregated, anonymous way.

The site's fonts are self-hosted on our own server (we do not use Google Fonts or other third-party CDNs), so your IP address is never transferred to an external provider when the page loads.

3.3 How to control these technologies

You can clear local storage and cookies from your browser settings at any time. The site will keep working normally (it will simply forget your language preference).

4. Changes to this policy

If we modify this policy, we will update the date shown at the top. Substantial changes affecting how we process your email will be communicated to you by email before taking effect.
